The GOUSSARD family’s vineyard and its different sites are nestled in the Côte des Bar. The village of Avirey-Lingey, the cradle of the estate, is where you can find their champagne development and maturation cellar. Their house and the reception cellars for visits and tastings are located in the centre of the village of Riceys. This is also where you can find their famous stone cellars which are used for storing and maturing some of their special vintages!
Marie-Hélène and Didier’s vineyard is spread across several different parcels around Riceys. Here, pinot noir and chardonnay grapes take centre stage! The different geological characteristics of the vineyard’s parcel result in a palette of varied nuances that is appreciated when creating different blends. As you can see, having a small estate does not necessarily stop you from offering a wide variety of champagnes!
The slopes surrounding Riceys are actually the largest terroir in Champagne with 866 hectares of vines. This are is renowned for its three P.D.O products: Champagne, Couteaux Champenois and Rosé des Riceys. This stunning site gives wine enthusiasts the opportunity to totally immerse themselves in one of the most beautiful villages in France.
